Are you an experienced leader within children’s residential care, passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments for young people?

The Role: Registered Manager
You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, its operations, and resources, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and values-based service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the residential home in line with regulatory standards and statutory guidance
- Ensure exceptional levels of safeguarding, care, and support
- Manage and mentor staff, including supervision, development, and performance
- Oversee budgets, resources, and daily operational delivery
- Ensure individualised, trauma-informed care planning
- Promote a positive, resilient, and team-focused workplace culture
- Drive continuous improvement across all areas of the service
Duties may be updated in accordance with service development.
Essential Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or over
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting children/young people with Learning Disabilities
- At least 1 year management experience in Residential Childcare or a similar setting
- Level 5 Health and Social Care – Children and Young People (required)
- Experience working directly with children/young people within 2 of the last 5 years
Preferred
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice
